Compressed air system mainly is used in operation room and dentistry dept etc to supply power or for breathing machine. Compressed air station system consists of compressor, gas tank, electric control box, drier and filter etc. In order to increase working efficiency and delay the durability of compressor, we usually use 2pcs compressor to work alternatively. In China, we usually use oilless piston type compressor and screw type air compressor. The former is in low cost, but with big noisy; the latter can supply stable power, but with high cost. Hospitals can choose suitable compressor with own situation. Compressed air tank is same as vacuum tank, mostly the material is carbon steel and stainless steel, the capacity is 1-3cbm. The tube of CA system in China is copper tube, the thickness and diameter of pipe is according to the status of gas usage. Gas outlet of CA usually is installed on pendent or bedhead panel of operation room. In some countries, the gas source of CA is supplied by gas manifolds, but in China, it is seldom.
